Most dressing games hand you a clean face and a wardrobe. This one makes you earn the wardrobe. Alice is heading to college and wants her crush, Alex, to notice her, and before any clothes come out you work through a slow spa routine: wiping the skin, clearing blemishes, applying treatments and doing a full manicure while soft sounds play in the background. The tools respond to click-and-drag strokes, so each step feels tactile rather than like a menu choice.
Once the skin is done the game opens up. The makeup stage offers a wide spread of shades and finishes for eyes, cheeks and lips, and the hair stage lets you change both cut and colour. Then comes the closet, the largest part of the game, with clothes, shoes, accessories and do-it-yourself pieces. You can build anything, but freedom has a cost later.
That cost is the contest. Finished looks are entered into themed school competitions, and the score depends on how well the whole outfit fits the theme and how balanced the colours are between face, hair and clothes. Winning contests is what moves Alice's story with Alex forward, so the romance works as a gentle reward track rather than a separate mode.
The result is a game with two moods. The spa half suits players who like calm care routines; the styling half suits players who like to experiment. Everything runs with a mouse or a finger, there is nothing to time or dodge, and a full makeover from bare face to contest entry takes several relaxed minutes.

How to play BFF Makeover - Spa & Dress Up
- Start at the spa: clean the face, remove every blemish and finish the treatment before moving on.
- Do the manicure next, choosing nail shape and colour with the rest of the look already in mind.
- In the makeup stage, pick shades for eyes, cheeks and lips, then set the hairstyle and hair colour.
- Open the closet and assemble an outfit with shoes and accessories, or decorate one of the do-it-yourself pieces.
- Read the contest theme, adjust the outfit to match it and confirm the look to see the score and the next story step.
Tips
- Choose a colour family for the clothes first and pick the lipstick and hair colour to agree with it, not the other way round.
- The do-it-yourself pieces are the quickest route to a look nobody else in the contest has, so try them early.
- If a contest scores badly, change one element at a time; the theme usually explains which part of the outfit is off.
Questions about BFF Makeover - Spa & Dress Up
What is the goal of the game?
Prepare Alice through spa care, makeup and styling, then enter her looks into school fashion contests that push her story with Alex forward.
Is there a timer or a way to fail?
No timer runs during the spa or styling stages. The only judgement is the contest score at the end of each look.
What happens in the spa stage?
You clean the skin, clear blemishes, apply treatments and do a manicure, each with its own tool that you drag across the screen.
Can I design my own clothes?
Partly. Alongside the ready-made closet there are do-it-yourself items you decorate to make a unique piece.
How are contests scored?
By how well the look fits the announced theme and how well its colours work together across face, hair and outfit.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Every action is a tap or a drag, so it plays the same on touch screens as with a mouse.
Who is the game suitable for?
The provider lists it for ages 10 and up. It contains no violence, only beauty routines, fashion and a light school romance.
