FNAF World is not a horror game, and that is the first thing to know before you load it. There are no dark rooms and nothing jumps out at you. Instead it is a colourful turn-based role-playing game: you lead a small squad of cute animatronic characters across a cartoon overworld, talk to the odd characters you meet and fight whatever the grass throws at you. The tone is light and slightly silly.
The loop has two halves. Out in the world you move with the arrow keys or WASD, and exploration is rewarded in a very literal way: walking into trees, walls and suspicious corners is how you find hidden chests and secret routes. Some objects look slightly glitched, such as a flickering tree or an odd rock, and stepping into them can take you into stranger layers of the map. Battles start at random as you walk, and that is where the game switches to the mouse.
In combat every character has three moves, and choosing which of them to use each turn is the whole game. Some fighters hit hard, some heal the party with songs, some distract enemies, and a squad built only from attackers falls apart as soon as the first of them goes down. If a fight turns against you, the Run button at the bottom of the screen is a real option, not a failure. Between fights you spend the tokens you earn in a shop on small helper drones that fight alongside the party, and you collect chips from chests that add lasting perks such as an opening shield or better critical hits.
This is a long game by browser standards. A single session covers a few areas and a handful of fights, and a full playthrough is a matter of hours rather than minutes.

How to play FNAF World
- Walk the overworld with the arrow keys or WASD and speak to characters with Enter or Space.
- When a random battle starts, click one of the three skills of the active fighter each turn.
- Keep at least one healer or support fighter in the party so damage dealers stay alive.
- Spend earned tokens in the shop on helper drones that add damage or support without costing a turn.
- Search every edge of each map for chests with chips, and step into glitched objects to reach hidden areas.
Tips
- A defeated attacker does no damage at all, so healing early is usually worth more than one extra hit.
- Run from fights you are clearly losing; keeping the party alive matters more than finishing every encounter.
- Buy the first helper drones as soon as you can afford them, because their passive damage matters most in boss fights.
Questions about FNAF World
Is FNAF World scary?
No. It is a bright cartoon role-playing game with no jump scares and no dark rooms.
How does combat work?
Battles are turn-based. Each fighter in your party has three skills, and you pick one per turn with the mouse.
How do battles start?
They trigger at random while you walk around the overworld.
What are chips and drones?
Chips come from hidden chests and give permanent perks. Drones are bought in the shop with tokens and add passive help in fights.
Can I escape a fight?
Yes, the Run button at the bottom of the battle screen lets you leave an encounter.
Where does this version come from?
It is embedded from the Yoplay.io catalogue. This site hosts the page and the guide, not the game files.
Does it work on a phone?
It is built around a keyboard for walking and a mouse for battles, so a computer is the practical choice.
