A small country hotel has a tea room downstairs, and you run it. High Tea Hotel is a Spil Games time management title from around 2011 in which a hostess walks between an old iron stove, a cash register with a telephone, and little tables covered in lace. Guests sit down, ask for something and wait; you prepare it, carry it over and collect the money. Before each day starts the game asks whether the daily special should be a tea or a pastry, a small choice that shapes what you will be making most. Between days, a map of the hotel grounds shows your progress along a trail of teacups, and a shop sells upgrades that make the work faster.

How to play High Tea Hotel

  1. Run the Tutorial once; it walks you through boiling water and serving the first cup step by step.
  2. Press Start, then Play on the map to open the next day of business.
  3. Choose tea or pastry as the daily special, or skip the choice.
  4. Take orders, prepare them at the stove and counter, and deliver them before guests lose patience.
  5. Collect the payment and use the money in the shop between days.

Tips

  • Watch the tutorial arrows closely; knowing where every station sits saves steps once real guests arrive.
  • Put the kettle on before guests arrive; hot water is the slowest step at the start.
  • Spend early upgrades on speed rather than decoration.
  • Pastry specials and tea specials suit different days; try both before deciding which one earns you more.
