Zombie Dash strips the running genre down to one axis. Your runner sprints forward on their own, a pack of zombies follows close behind, and the track is filled with wooden crates, farm carts, fallen logs and low fences. In most runners you would hop over half of those. Here there is no jump at all. Every single obstacle has to be passed by moving sideways into another lane, and because the horde is right at your heels, one collision is the end of the run.
That single restriction changes how the game is played. Obstacles often come in clusters that block two or three lanes at once, so you frequently need two quick presses in a row to cross the track before the next row arrives. The skill is less about reflexes in the moment and more about reading the pattern early: seeing which lane stays open two or three obstacles ahead and starting to move before it becomes urgent. Players who watch their own character tend to crash; players who watch the track far ahead tend to finish.
Unlike an endless runner, the game is split into stages. Each track has an end, and finishing it unlocks the next one and awards up to three stars depending on how well you ran. Gold coins sit along the lanes, frequently right in front of a barricade, which makes them a constant small temptation. The coins are spent in a shop on new outfits and looks for your runner, so there is a reason to take a risk, but never an obligation.
The visuals are clean low-poly 3D in bright colours, chosen so that obstacles stay easy to read at speed. A stage lasts around a minute or two, restarts are instant, and the game works with two keys on a keyboard or with swipes on a phone.

How to play Zombie Dash
- Start a stage; your runner moves forward automatically with the zombies close behind.
- Press left or right to shift one lane at a time around every crate, cart, log and fence.
- Tap twice quickly when you need to cross several lanes before the next obstacle row.
- Collect gold coins when the lane is safe, and skip them when grabbing one would trap you.
- Reach the end of the track to unlock the next stage and earn up to three stars.
Tips
- Keep your eyes on the obstacles two rows ahead, not on the runner, so lane changes start early.
- A single coin is never worth a tight lane swap next to a barricade.
- When lanes are wide open, drift towards the middle; it leaves you one move from either side.
