Prisoner 9527 swears he is innocent, and in two weeks he will be moved to a high-security prison. Luckily he already has a plan. Jail Break Rush, a Spil Games title from around 2010, opens with a short comic and a notepad called The Plan, listing the stages: the map, the hammer, the drill, drilling and more drilling. Each stage is played the same way. Hold the mouse button and the prisoner works on the current step; let go and he sits innocently on his bunk. A guard checks on the cell, and being caught with the button down is the only real danger. The other inmates are cool and will not give you away. You have fourteen days to get through the list.

How to play Jail Break Rush

  1. Press Start and click Next through the story and The Plan notepad.
  2. Hold the mouse button to make progress on the current task.
  3. Release it as soon as the guard comes into view.
  4. Finish each task within the day and move through all five stages of the plan.
  5. Break out before the fourteenth day ends.

Tips

  • Spend the first day just watching how the guard behaves before you push your luck.
  • Let go a little early rather than a little late.
  • Ignore the other prisoners completely; only the guard matters.
  • Progress keeps its place when you let go, so many short bursts add up just as well as a single long one.
