Raft Wars 2: Simon in sunglasses on a duck float singing next to his brother aiming in a pool

The sequel picks up after the first fight. The opening comic recaps how three-year-old Simon dug up gold and diamonds on the beach and defended them with his brother. Then the brothers are in a small plane with a sunglasses-wearing pilot, someone shouts that there is an iceberg ahead, and it turns out to be a construction site. A water park is going up exactly where they buried the treasure. That park, Aqualand, is the battleground for the whole game: pools, a hamburger stand, deck chairs, umbrellas and diving towers. Level 1, The Paint Bucket, has a par of two and places a bucket on top of a wooden tower. Between shots Simon keeps himself busy in his float, putting on sunglasses or a swimsuit top and singing to himself. Credits list Martijn Kunst for the game, Mr Furby for music and Mara Junot for voices. The original release was in 2010; this file is the later BigDino build.

How to play Raft Wars 2

  1. Click PLAY on the title screen. Click through the plane and water park comic, or press SKIP.
  2. Each level card names the level and its par. Click to begin, and the camera pans over the targets.
  3. When the camera is back on the brothers, move the mouse to set direction and strength, then click to fire.
  4. After a miss, the previous trajectory stays on screen as pale dots, so you can adjust the next shot against it.
  5. Clear the level's objective in as few shots as possible to beat its par and move on to the next part of Aqualand.

Tips

  • Move the pointer slowly and watch the dotted line stretch or shrink before clicking. Pulling it further out gives a longer shot.
  • The camera pan at the start is the best look you get at the layout, so note how high and how far the target sits.
  • Compare each new aim with the pale dots of the last shot. Small changes in angle are easier to judge than starting over.
  • Par counts are low here, Level 1 allows just two shots, so it is worth a careful first aim rather than a quick one.
