Steal An Egg! is a short-loop 3D escape game with a very angry guard: a chicken that takes the theft of its eggs personally. You slip into its yard, pick up eggs and try to make it back to the safe zone before it runs you down. It plays in the browser with no download, on a computer or on a phone.
Every trip into the yard is a small bet. Common eggs sit close to the safe spots and cost almost nothing to take. Golden eggs pay many more coins, but they are placed deep inside the chicken's territory, so reaching one means a long exposed run in and an even longer one out. Grabbing the easy ones builds up coins slowly and safely; going for gold pays quickly if your legs are fast enough and your timing is right.
Eggs alone do not open the way forward, though. Each map also hides portal stars, and the exit portal only unlocks once you have collected the stars the stage needs. That turns the heist into a search as well: you are scanning corners and edges of the yard for stars while also keeping an eye on the bird. Clearing a portal moves you to a new world with a different map and a faster chicken, so the pressure keeps rising.
Coins go to the shop, and the most useful thing there is permanent speed. Each upgrade makes every future escape easier, which is what lets you start reaching the golden eggs you could not before. The rest of the shop is cosmetic: skins for your runner and trails that follow you as you sprint. Watching how the chicken patrols before you commit, and using corners and objects to break its line of sight, matter as much as raw speed.

- Watch where the chicken is patrolling before you move, and pick a clear route to an egg and back.
