The October 2010 Cosmoangel cover is dark blue, dotted with stars and friendly cartoon ghosts, and its promise is simple: cute and creepy don't have to clash. The model has a brown ponytail and a white headband, and her title-page look is a mummy costume, a black mini dress with white bandage wraps around one shoulder and both knees. The inside story calls it Halloween havoc style. The wardrobe mixes costume pieces with ordinary autumn clothes, since another cover line says the new fall trends are in, and it adds a barrette tab, a bracelet tab and a props tab for things she can hold.
| Dress Her Up | Start styling from the cover |

| Hair to Dress tabs | Change hair, face and clothes |

How to play Cover Model Dress Up: October
- Click Dress Her Up on the cover to enter the dressing room; the ghosts stay on screen while you work.
- The left column covers hair, barrette, eyes, lips, tops, bottoms and dress.
- On the right are earrings, bracelets, shoes and props, followed by SFX, Done and Reset.
- Pick items from the thumbnail panel, and clear a slot with the X tile.
- Done shows the cover with Font 1, Font 2, Font 3 and BG Color tabs for restyling it.
Tips
- Keep one costume element and build the rest from normal clothes; the result feels like a fashion cover rather than a party outfit.
- White pieces glow against the navy background, so bandage wraps and pearls read well.
- Props change the mood of the picture a lot, so choose them last, once the outfit is settled.
- Her dark ponytail frames pale accessories nicely, so a white or silver barrette stands out.
Questions about Cover Model Dress Up: October
Is it scary?
Not at all. The ghosts are cartoonish and the costumes are playful.
Can I make an ordinary autumn outfit instead of a costume?
Yes. Regular tops, bottoms and shoes are mixed in with the Halloween pieces.
What do the Font buttons on the final cover do?
They change the style of the cover lines, and BG Color changes the page behind her.
Is there a later Halloween issue?
Yes. Fashion Editor: October from 2011 takes the theme somewhere more dramatic, with wings, capes and face paint.
