A hair salon game from Spil Games that wraps each haircut in a short fairytale. The menu offers two ways in. Story Mode opens a big leather-bound book with five chapters, and only the first is unlocked at the start. Chapter one tells of an ice princess so cold and fierce that nobody would talk to her, and your task is to give her a fun, friendly new style. Finishing a chapter unlocks decorations such as a sunflower clip, a pendant and a butterfly for later use. Creation Mode skips the stories and lets you style freely. Either way you begin by choosing a base style, for example braids, a short crop, a side ponytail or an updo, and then customize the cut, the color and the highlights until the client looks right.

How to play Fairytale Hairstyle

  1. Open Story Mode and pick Chapter 1 from the book.
  2. Read the story page and the task on the right, then press OK.
  3. Choose a base hairstyle; use the arrow to see more than the first four.
  4. Adjust the cut, then the color and highlights, keeping the task in mind.
  5. Finish the look to unlock the chapter's reward items and the next story.

Tips

  • Each task hints at a mood, such as friendly for the ice princess, so pick softer shapes and warmer colors when the story asks for it.
  • Items unlocked in the story are worth trying in Creation Mode, where there is no task to satisfy.
  • If you are unsure, start from a simple base like the side ponytail; it is easier to change than a full updo.
