The title screen shows the Dorothy everyone knows: blonde pigtails with red bows, a blue gingham pinafore, a picnic basket with a little dog peeking out and sparkly red shoes standing on a golden brick road. Once you press Start, most of that comes off, and the job is to build her a fresh outfit for the land of Oz. Nine yellow tabs line the sides of the stage, five for the look and four for shoes, accessories, music and finishing. Each tab cycles through options on the doll, so you can mix a classic storybook costume with something much more fanciful. This is a short classic from Spil Games, played with mouse clicks, with no score and no timer.
| Left tabs | Change hair, eyes, crown, top and bottom |

How to play The Wizard of Oz Dress Up
- Press Start on the title screen. A language menu sits in the top-left corner.
- Click the hair and eyes tabs first to set her face, since the rest of the outfit will be matched to it.
- Use the crown, top and bottom tabs to build the main costume. Each click brings up the next option.
- Add shoes and accessories from the right side. Red shoes are a nice nod to the story.
- Press Done to see Dorothy ready for her adventure, or Reset to try a completely different idea.
Tips
- Try a blue and white theme for a faithful storybook Dorothy, then do a second round in bold colours for contrast.
- The crown tab changes the whole mood of the outfit, so pick it last once the clothes are settled.
- If the music gets repetitive, the note tab switches it off without leaving the game.
