The Impossible Quiz 2 is the 2008 sequel by Splapp-me-do, and it starts trolling before the first question: when you hit Begin, the screen fills with flying arrows that all say skip. The menu that follows is louder than in the first quiz, with a light-bulb logo and pill-shaped purple buttons labelled Go Go Go, Instructions and Credits. The idea is unchanged. A red question sits above four answers, and the answer that seems obvious is usually there to cost you a life. Asked where a general keeps his armies, the reply is a pun about sleeves; asked what you need to build a green house, you think in colours, not in materials. The status bar at the bottom is new. Lives are shown on the left, a row of small icons and greyed-out figures sits in the middle, and three large grey arrows fill the right side. A wrong click takes one life away on the spot, and the run continues on the same question.
| Mouse click | Select an answer or press Go Go Go and the other menu buttons |

| Mouse hover | The button under the pointer glows green, so you always see which answer a click will pick |
How to play The Impossible Quiz 2
- Wait until the loading bar says Complete, then click Begin and let the arrow intro pass.
- Press Go Go Go on the menu to start at question one. Instructions and Credits are optional.
- Read each red question together with all four buttons and click the one that answers the joke, not the textbook.
- Watch the lives counter in the lower left. Every miss lowers it by one, and at zero the run is over.
- When you are out of lives the quiz is over, so every later attempt is a chance to answer the known questions faster and save lives for new ones.
Tips
- Most early questions are puns. Say the question out loud and listen for a second meaning before clicking.
- When the question asks which is the largest, check whether the answers are really what they seem. Planet names and galaxy names can hide something else.
- Move the pointer off the buttons while you think. The green glow follows the cursor and makes it easy to click by accident.
- Do not trust what is drawn larger or brighter. In this quiz the eye-catching answer is usually the trap.
Questions about The Impossible Quiz 2
How is it different from the first Impossible Quiz?
New questions, a glossy redesign with pill-shaped buttons, five lives instead of three, and a busier status bar along the bottom.
How many lives do I start with?
Our run started with five, shown in the bottom left corner, and each wrong answer took one.
Do I have to start over after losing?
Yes. When the lives run out, the next attempt begins at question one again, so remembering the solved questions matters.
Does it work on mobile?
Answers are plain clicks, so tapping can work on a tablet, but the game was made for a mouse on a computer and that is where it runs best.
