Here the monkey from Bloons puts on a red cape and a blue mask and flies. The camera looks straight down at a countryside that scrolls past underneath: a winding river, dirt paths, wheat fields, bushes with red berries and mushrooms. Balloons drift in from the top of the screen in formations, sometimes a single loose line, sometimes a solid block of blue rows that fills the whole width. Super Monkey follows your mouse pointer around the field and throws darts upward on his own, so the whole skill is positioning: slide under a group, sweep left and right through it and keep moving. The panel on the right tracks your total score, the stage and wave, the target pops for the wave and how many Power Blops you have collected. Wave one asks for 150 pops. Fall short when the wave ends and you get a Game Over screen that adds a blop bonus to your base score, with buttons to play again or go back to the menu.

How to play Bloons Super Monkey
- Click Start on the title screen. A banner announces the wave and how many balloons it wants.
- Move the mouse to steer. Keep the monkey below the incoming formations so his darts climb into them.
- Sweep sideways through wide blocks of balloons; each column you pass under loses a few more.
- Pick up Power Blops when they appear, they raise the bonus at the end.
- Hit the target pop count before the wave runs out to move on to the next one.
Tips
- Do not chase a single balloon. The big blocks are where the 150 pops come from, so wait under them.
- Moving the pointer too far ahead makes the monkey lag behind it. Small, steady sweeps keep the darts on target.
- Watch the counter inside the red balloon on the side panel; it shows how many pops you still owe this wave.
- The score screen splits base score and blop bonus, so collecting blops matters even on a run you lose.
Questions about Bloons Super Monkey
Do I have to click to shoot?
No. In our test Super Monkey threw darts upward continuously; you only steer with the mouse.
Why did I get Game Over on wave one?
The wave has a target, 150 bloons on the first one. If the wave ends below that number the run is over, even if you never got hit.
What are Power Blops?
Pickups counted on the side panel. At the end of a run they are turned into a bonus that is added to your base score.
Can I play Super Monkey on a phone?
Not well. The monkey follows a hovering mouse pointer, which a touch screen does not have. Play it on a computer with a mouse.
