Duck Life 3 is about breeding. A newspaper front page announces that a farmer has invented ducks bred for a single skill, and the next screen puts four identical eggs in front of a windmill and a red barn. Hovering an egg shows its report card. The Strength type is graded B in running and swimming but A in climbing; the Athletic type has A in running and swimming and C in the air; the Flying type reaches A+ in flying; the Swimming type has A+ in the water. Whatever you pick shapes the whole career, because those grades become small bonuses and penalties next to each level bar. The game then splits into three leagues, Amateur, Advanced and Professional, each with its own training and its own race central. Swimming training now shows your speed in miles per hour, and purple coins in flying training give a burst of speed. Wix Games made it in 2011.
| Space | Start a training session |
|---|---|

| Left and Right arrows | Move in the water and jump between walls when climbing |

How to play Duck Life 3: Evolution
- Press START, read the newspaper and pick one of the four eggs. Confirm with YES to hatch it.
- Choose a league. Only Amateur is open at first; Advanced and Professional stay locked until you get through it.
- From the farm screen press TRAIN and choose Flying, Running, Climbing or Swimming.
- Feed the duck from the two dispensers, one dollar for seed and fifteen dollars for super seed, before you race.
- Press RACE. The amateur qualifiers are Race 1 Across the Lake, Race 2 The Final Flight and a Final; winning them opens the Finals.
Tips
- Match the breed to your patience. The Athletic duck is easiest for running and swimming races, while the Flying type turns long glides into easy wins.
- Look at the plus and minus marks beside each level bar. They follow your breed, so an Athletic duck shows plus marks on running and swimming.
- The Achievements screen lists ten goals, from collecting a coin to entering the portal and beating the champion duck. One asks you to fly backwards in flying training.
- Finishing the game with all four breeds is its own achievement, so a second save with a different egg is worth it.
Questions about Duck Life 3: Evolution
Which duck should I choose in Duck Life 3?
It depends on the races you like. Athletic is graded A in two skills, Flying and Swimming are A+ in one skill and weaker elsewhere, and Strength is the climbing specialist.
How is Duck Life 3 different from Duck Life 2?
You pick a bred duck with fixed skill grades, progress through three leagues instead of countries, and chase ten achievements.
The start screen shows an empty black box. Is the game broken?
No. That box is an old ad slot left inside the file. The START button next to it works normally.
Can I play Duck Life 3 on a tablet or phone?
Not well. All four training games are steered with the arrow keys, so a keyboard is required.
