May 2011's Fashion Editor issue heads to the coast. Summer at the Beach is the headline, and the editor asks whether your swimsuit makes a splash. The model has a sun-kissed tan, long dark-brown waves and ruby eyes, and she starts in a white crossover bikini top with little shorts. On the title page she wears heart-shaped sunglasses on her head, a sheer pink shirt tied loosely over a black top and wrap skirt, and pink sandals. Unlike the other Fashion Editor months, this one has a glasses tab and a props tab, matching the side columns Shade Yourself and Sparkly Eyes. The backdrop is a sunset gradient from coral to yellow, full of floating spots of light.

How to play Fashion Editor: May
- Click Summer at the Beach on the cover to enter the dressing room.
- Left side: hair, eyes, lips, tops, bottoms, extras and glasses. Right side: earrings, barrette, shoes and props, then SFX, Done and Reset.
- Choose a swim top and bottom first, then decide whether to cover up with a shirt or skirt.
- Add sunglasses and a prop, and remove anything with the X tile.
- Press Done to see the May cover.
Tips
- Warm colours vanish into the sunset background, while white, black and bright pink stand out.
- The cover line mentions sparkly eyes, so look through the eyes tab before the clothes.
- A light shirt over swimwear keeps the look beach-ready and cover-ready at once.
- Earrings or a barrette in the same pink as her sandals pull the whole outfit together.
