Red Ball 2: The King opens with a picture book story. Red Ball, King of the Monarchy of Balls, is out enjoying a warm day in his crown when a strong wind blows it off his head and away over the hills. He looks everywhere, asks whether anyone has seen it, and finally declares that he must find his crown, which is where you come in. Instead of a plain list, the levels sit on a hand drawn map: twenty numbered stops winding past a castle with a cannon, a playground swing and a fishing pier. Each level is a strip of grass and earth floating in the sky. The first one teaches the arrow keys with a speech bubble and three gold stars on a hill, worth 100 points each, and ends at a red flag on top of a short flight of steps. Level 2 adds a new lesson, use the Down key to stop, right before a row of red spikes, and bumping into them costs 100 of your points. The bar at the bottom shows the level number, stars collected, your crown score, and Restart and Menu buttons. Credits name Evgeniy Fedoseev as the developer, with physics by Box2D.

How to play Red Ball 2
- Press Play on the first screen, then click through the comic or use Skip intro in the top corner.
- Choose Start Game. Bonus Levels stays greyed out at the beginning.
- On the Select Level map click the yellow circle with the flag, which is level 1.
- Click inside the game once so it hears the arrow keys, roll right, grab the stars and reach the red flag at the end.
- Touching the flag finishes the level and drops you straight into the next one. Spikes take points from your crown score, so brake before them.
Tips
- Down is your brake. Tap it before a hazard rather than reversing, because the ball keeps rolling for a moment after you let go of Right.
- On level 1 the stars sit in a line along the top of the hill, so a steady roll over it collects all three in one pass.
- If you stall against an obstacle, back up a little and come at it with a running jump instead of pressing Up from a standstill.
- The Walkthrough button in the top corner is there if a level stumps you.

How is this different from Red Ball?
It is the sequel with a story. You chase a lost crown across a map of 20 levels, and each level counts stars and keeps a crown score.
Why is there a King.com logo?
This copy is the version that was distributed through King.com, so their logo and links are built into the game file.
What happens when I hit spikes?
The ball restarts and your crown score drops by 100 points, so it pays to brake early.
Does it work on a phone?
No. There are no on-screen controls; the ball is moved with the arrow keys, so play on a computer.
