The shelter is a grassy field split into four enclosures, each with its own resident: a little monkey by the banana tree, a giraffe calf near the stream, a lion cub and more. Each pen has a happiness bar at the top and a bucket for cleaning, and a toolbar along the bottom holds the shop, a notebook, a clock and your coins. Before a day starts, a Daily Tasks board lists exactly what is expected, for example a first-aid kit for the monkey, a beach ball for the giraffe and a crate of food for the monkey again. New arrivals come with a card showing their name, age, days in the shelter and happiness. Keep the bars full and the babies eventually go home to the wild. It is a classic Spil Games title from about 2011.

How to play Baby Animal Shelter
- Press Start Game and follow the short tutorial that shows the shelter areas and the animal info cards.
- Read the Daily Tasks board before each day; it tells you which animal needs which item.
- Click the matching item in the toolbar, then click the animal to hand it over.
- Clean dirty enclosures with the bucket and watch the happiness bar of every pen.
- Finish the tasks before the day runs out to earn coins and get closer to releasing a healthy animal.
Tips
- Deal with medicine requests first; an unwell animal loses happiness faster than a bored one.
- Spend coins in the shop on supplies you keep running short of rather than on extras.
- Glance at all four pens between tasks so a quiet enclosure does not slip into the red.
