World 2 opens with a credits roll in the sky and then drops you into a hub that works like a small house of doors. Instead of a list of buttons, a line of doors sits on two floors: Start Game in the middle, Select Level on the right, Trophies plus Colors on the left, and Contribute, Hey!, Play World 1 and Credits underneath. A counter in the corner tracks six pant colours and six trophies you have yet to find, which gives this sequel a clear reason to explore every corner. The first level starts on a grassy, golf-course-like hillside. The game literally tells you to press the jump key to begin your swing, and the hero takes his swing at a tee before the run even starts, with a flag and a sand trap waiting further along. From there the blue sky and dark green hills are full of squiggles to collect and wooden signs that explain the next trick when you stand in front of them.

How to play The Fancy Pants Adventures: World 2
- Let the credits play or click the skip arrows in the bottom right corner to reach the hub.
- Walk to the Start Game door in the middle of the upper floor and press Up.
- On the first hillside press S to take your swing, then run right across the hills.
- Stop in front of each wooden sign to read the advice written on it.
- Collect squiggles, keep your lives (shown as a counter at the top) and search side paths for trophies and new pant colours.
Tips
- Check the counters in the top right corner of the hub to see how many colours and trophies are still missing.
- Select Level becomes useful once you have finished a stage and want to go back for a missed trophy.
- Turn the moving background off with B if the parallax hills make the screen feel busy.
- Squiggles often hang in arcs in the air, so one well-timed jump can pick up a whole row at once.

Is this the same as World 1?
No. World 2 is the 2008 sequel by Brad Borne with new levels, a door hub with trophies and unlockable pant colours. World 1 is a separate page on our site.
What are the colours and trophies?
The hub counts six unlockable pant colours and six trophies. They are hidden in the levels and can be viewed through the Trophies plus Colors door.
Why is there a long intro?
The opening shows the music credits. Click the small skip arrows in the corner if you do not want to wait.
