The December 2011 Fashion Editor issue is all Christmas, and the cover says so in large letters: Christmas Collections. The strapline argues that a trendy white wardrobe suits the season's spirit, while the smaller columns are called Xmas Wishes and Showy Shoes, all over a scatter of pastel snowflakes. The model has long auburn hair in a loose side braid and big brown eyes. Her title-page look is a Santa-style mini dress with fluffy white trim, a laced black waist, red-and-white striped stockings and red lace-up boots under a matching hat. In the dressing room the backdrop turns to soft coloured bubbles, and a gloves tab joins the festive tights and footwear.

How to play Fashion Editor: December
- Click Christmas Collections on the cover to open the dressing screen.
- On the left: hair, eyes, lips, tops, bottoms, extras and dress. On the right: earrings, gloves, shoes and tights, then SFX, Done and Reset.
- Open the shoes tab to find a long column of boots and heels in red, black and brown.
- Click an item to wear it, or the X to empty that slot.
- Done shows your finished Christmas cover.
Tips
- Follow the cover's own advice: a mostly white outfit with one red accent looks festive without turning into a costume.
- Choose either striped tights with plain boots or plain tights with statement boots, and let only one of them be showy.
- Gloves and earrings frame the hands and face in a winter picture, so check them before you settle the shoes.
- The bubble backdrop is soft and pale, so deep red and dark green stand out more than pastels.
Questions about Fashion Editor: December
Is this a Santa costume game?
Partly. Santa-style pieces are there, but ordinary winter clothes are mixed in so you can go either way.
Can I play it outside the holidays?
Of course. It is simply themed around December.
How is it different from the October issue?
October is a Halloween costume issue with wings and capes; December swaps that for snowflakes, white fabrics and festive reds.
Who is the man in the tuxedo photo?
A fictional magazine editor who appears on every Fashion Editor cover. He decorates the page and does not judge your outfit.
