The first of two frog-prince games from Spil Games, and the one that set up the joke. An orange-haired princess in a blue gown has heard that a kiss turns a frog into a prince, but she wants to stack the odds with magic lipstick. The game plays out in three short scenes. First, in a cozy red room with a fireplace, candles and a wall of books, you choose four ingredients from the shelves and drop them into a glass flask: a blue tree frog, a one-eyed creature in a jar, a green quill in a pot, a small rainbow, an old boot sprouting grass and a bubbling pot all qualify. Each ingredient can be used only once, and the potion changes color as it fills. Then you apply the lipstick with quick side-to-side mouse movement, and finally you click the green frog on his red velvet stool as fast as you can before the meter runs down. Only then do you learn whether the spell worked.

How to play Frogtastic
- Press Start, or read How to Play first for the three-step overview.
- Drag four different ingredients from around the room into the flask; they appear in the row of slots at the bottom.
- Click the bubble that appears to mix the lipstick.
- Sweep the mouse quickly from side to side to put the lipstick on.
- Click the frog as fast as you can, then watch what he turns into.
Tips
- The recipe is the real puzzle. Note which four ingredients you used each time, so you can change one at a time and learn what matters.
- Grab ingredients by the middle of the picture; clicking the edge of an object may not pick it up.
- Fast, wide mouse strokes fill the lipstick meter far quicker than small wiggles.

Is there a correct recipe?
The game asks you to find the perfect formula, and after the kiss it shows you whether your mix worked, so experimenting is part of the fun.
How is it different from Frogtastic 2?
This first game has the orange-haired princess, the green frog and a red fireplace room full of spooky ingredients like the one-eyed jar creature. The sequel moves to an attic with a blonde princess and a yellow frog.
Can I use the same ingredient twice?
No. Each item goes into the flask only once per potion.
How long does a round take?
About a minute or two, which makes it easy to try many recipes in one sitting.
