The dessert in Papa's Scooperia is a cookie sundae, and the cookie is made from scratch. The shop has a lilac counter and diamond-patterned walls, and the workers on offer are Carlo Romano, Koilee or a custom character. Its Dough station holds long troughs of traditional and chocolate dough. You click the bin named on the ticket and drag a scooper slowly through it while a moving marker under the trough sets the pace; drag too fast or too slow and the dough ball comes out uneven. Next you dip the ball into a mix-in bin such as chocolate chips, peanuts, mini marshmallows or candy pieces. The Bake station is a flaming oven with nine cookie spots, each with its own green progress mark; a finished cookie is dragged onto one of three plates and sent on with a check button. At Build the ice cream is scooped by hand as well: you circle the scooper around the rim of a vanilla, chocolate or strawberry tub at the speed of the dots, then drop the scoop centred on the cookie. Syrup bottles, shakers like crushed peanuts and a waffle cone on top complete the order. Ivy rated our first sundae 64 points.

How to play Papa's Scooperia
- Press CONTINUE on the Freezeria To Go screen, then Play, an empty slot and Carlo, Koilee or your own worker.
- Take the order and drag the ticket to the rail; it lists dough, mix-in, bake level, ice cream, syrup, shaker and top item from bottom to top.
- At Dough, choose the dough bin, scoop it slowly at the marker's speed and dip the ball into the requested mix-in.
- At Bake, drag the dough into a free spot, wait until the progress mark reaches the line, move the cookie to a plate and press the check.
- At Build, scoop the ice cream around the tub rim, drop it on the cookie, add syrup, shaker and topper, then drag the ticket to the holder.
Tips
- Follow the dots, not your instinct. Both scooping steps reward matching the speed of the moving guide, and rushing is the most common mistake.
- Watch the cookie through the oven window. We left our first one too long, it came out almost black, and the bake score was only 61%.
- Move the syrup bottle in slow loops over the scoop instead of holding it still, so the sauce covers the ice cream evenly.
- Drop the waffle cone or cherry from directly above the scoop so it lands centred.
