Tinseltown changes the rules of the Shopaholic formula. Instead of one endless street, you get a night map of Los Angeles crossed by Wilshire Boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard and Rodeo Drive, and only the first block is open. Everything else sits behind padlocks marked level 3 and level 5. What raises your level is not spending but partying. Invitations arrive by email, each with a dress code; the very first is a Red Carpet Party that asks for black tie. You search for stores that match the code, buy the right pieces, get changed in your closet and walk the carpet, where the game compares your outfit with the brief and awards performance stars. Four stars fill the first level bar. The shops look different from older entries too: gowns hang on mannequins with price tags, and tapping one shows its colours plus small style badges. Indulge, The Vault, Feet First, Crimson & Lace, Tinsel Town and Wonderland are among the stores the search lists.

How to play Shopaholic Hollywood

  1. Pick a model on the red carpet stage, confirm her profile and collect the starting $1100, which includes a first-play bonus.
  2. Open the envelope to read the party invitation and note the style icon it asks for.
  3. Use the magnifier to see which stores carry that style, then take the map to the right street and walk to the shop.
  4. Click an item on a mannequin, choose a colour and press the cart; the badge next to it shows which dress codes it satisfies.
  5. Go to the closet, wear your new pieces, then return to the invitation and press Party! to be judged.
  6. Earn stars to level up, unlock new streets and stores, and save good looks with Upload to Album or Set as Avatar.

Tips

  • Buy only what matches the current code; a matching dress alone was enough for a star at the first party.
  • Gowns cost several hundred dollars, so one well-chosen piece beats three random ones.
  • The Shop! button on the invitation takes you back to shopping if you realise the outfit is not ready.
