In the April 2011 issue, the Cosmoangel Fashion Editor series takes on boyfriend style: borrowing pieces from a menswear wardrobe and making them look deliberate. The headline tells you to be stylishly strong this season, and two side stories point to the details, Try a Tie and Lovely Gloves. The model is a pale blonde with a loose side braid and blue eyes, and the title page shows her in a black waistcoat, white vest and cropped black trousers with fishnet socks. Inside, the tops tab is full of crisp shirts in white, grey, navy and black, some with ruffled fronts, and there are dedicated ties and gloves tabs that other months do not have.

How to play Fashion Editor: April

  1. Click the Boyfriend Style headline on the cover to open the dressing screen.
  2. Purple tabs run down both edges: hair, eyes, lips, tops, bottoms, tights and jackets on the left; earrings, gloves, shoes and ties on the right.
  3. Each tab opens a two-column grid of thumbnails. Click one to put it on, and the X square takes it off.
  4. SFX switches the sound effects and Reset clears the look.
  5. Press Done to see her on the April cover, beside the editor's photo and the article teasers.

Tips

  • A shirt, tie and slim trousers make the core look; soften it with earrings or gloves so it still feels like her outfit.
  • Monochrome works well here, because black and white pieces echo the cover's dark lettering.
  • Jackets hide most of the top, so choose the shirt with the jacket already on.

The magazine's fictional editor, whose portrait appears on every issue of the Fashion Editor series.

Is it hard?

No. There is nothing to lose, so it suits younger players who just want to try outfits.
