You arrive with nothing. The hero of Sword Masters is a bald little figure in white shorts, standing in a hub village built around a big blue fountain, while players who have been at it for weeks walk past with level numbers in the thousands and fiery pets trailing behind them. The HUD in the corner is honest about where you stand: 100 health, zero gold, zero power, and a level bar at 1 with 0 of 15 experience filled.
The village is a ring of stations, each with a floating sign. A bearded Blacksmith works an anvil next to a rack of swords. Customize opens a wardrobe of outfits, and every piece is a stat item rather than pure decoration: the first unlock, a Leather Bandana for 500 gold, adds 100 extra health, and later pieces bring health, gold and power multipliers. There is an Egg stand for hatching pets, plus Storage, Trade, a Mine, a Dwarf, a Clans board and a fenced VIP Land. One stone archway simply refuses you and announces how many hundreds of levels you still need before it will open.
The tutorial points you to Farmer Steve on the far side of a wooden bridge. He is in tears: orcs have stolen his bag of coins and beaten him up, and if you defeat 30 Roundhead creatures he will pay you 5,000 gold. Accepting pins the counter to the top of the screen and changes the tutorial line to a hint about the enemy basement. That is the shape of the whole game: talk to someone with an exclamation mark, clear a batch of monsters, collect gold, spend it on gear and eggs, repeat in tougher zones.
Monsters drop swords and shields straight into your bag, and the bag window has a single Merge All button that fuses duplicates into stronger tiers, beside Sell Unused for clearing junk. The pet window works the same way. It is a grind, but a readable one, shared with everyone else on the server.

How to play Sword Masters
- Follow the purple dotted line from the fountain to Farmer Steve and accept his Roundhead quest.
- Fight the small monsters first; stay clear of anything far above your level.
- Open the bag with I and press Merge All whenever duplicates pile up.
- Bring gold back to the Customize booth for stat outfits and to the Egg stand for pets.
- Take new quests as your level rises and move on to the zones they unlock.
Tips
- The Leather Bandana is cheap and its +100 health doubles your starting pool.
- Sell Unused keeps the bag from filling with gear you will never equip.
- A short video advert sometimes plays when you enter a station; it can be closed after a countdown.
Questions about Sword Masters
Is Sword Masters multiplayer?
Yes. You share a server with other players, up to eight in the session we tested, and there is a text chat on Enter.
What should I do first?
Walk to Farmer Steve across the bridge and take his quest to defeat 30 Roundheads for 5,000 gold.
How do weapons get stronger?
Matching swords and shields merge into higher tiers; the bag has a Merge All button for this.
What are the outfits for?
Each one carries stats such as extra health or gold and power multipliers, so they count as gear.
Why can't I go through some gates?
Certain archways are locked behind very high levels and tell you how many you are missing.
Can I play on a phone?
It is built around keyboard and mouse; we did not confirm touch controls, so a computer is the safe choice.
Does it need a download?
No, it runs in the browser tab.
