This page runs the Extended v2.1 build of the sequel, which the game itself describes as the version with auto-saving and ten extra levels, for a total of 60. The rules carried over from 2007 almost unchanged: a red square, blue dots that kill on contact, yellow coins and green safe pads. What changed is the room design. The first level is already a cross-shaped chamber where two pairs of dots orbit the centre while coins sit right inside their path, so you have to dive in, grab one and back out before the circle comes around. The interface is also friendlier than in the first game. A top bar shows Menu, Pause and Mute with their hotkeys, the death count and the level number, a Tutorial is offered from the title screen, and progress is stored so Load Game picks up where you stopped instead of sending you back to room one.

How to play World's Hardest Game 2
- After the sponsor screen, the title menu offers New Game, Load Game, Tutorial and a few links. Pick Tutorial if you have never played a game of this type.
- Start a New Game and confirm the two message screens with Continue or the space bar.
- Click inside the playfield once, then guide the square off the green pad with the arrow keys.
- Pick up every yellow coin in the room. Touching a blue dot sends you back to the start or to the last checkpoint and adds a death.
- Step onto the green exit with all coins collected to advance. The game saves automatically, so Load Game resumes later from the same level.
Tips
- In orbiting rooms like level 1, enter right behind a passing dot, not in front of the next one. Following the circle gives you the longest safe time.
- Press P whenever you need to think. Pausing costs nothing and the dots freeze exactly where they were.
- Take coins in the order that keeps you closest to a safe pad. A long greedy route through the middle is what usually costs lives.
- If you want a clean run for the death counter, Clear Data on the title screen wipes the saved progress.
