The third Henry Stickmin episode, released in 2011, is where the series stopped being a single gag and became a proper game. It opens with a whole little story before you touch anything: a moustached museum owner in a top hat shows off a huge blue diamond under glass, a live TV report puts its value at up to 12 million dollars, and Henry, reading the job ads at his kitchen table, has a better idea. Then it is night, Henry is crouched on a rooftop across from the museum, and the first decision is the one that defines your run: Bust In or Sneak In.
From there the path keeps splitting into fresh choice screens, and this episode adds something the first two did not have — quick keyboard prompts in the middle of the action. On the Bust In route Henry rolls up to the guarded entrance on a kick scooter and the screen flashes Kick, Ram and Jump. You have about a second to press the right key, and a wrong answer or no answer at all ends in a fail.
Fails are counted. Each one drops a big splintered FAIL sign over the scene, a dry one-line comment ("Well... you got one of the guards") and two counters: total fails and unique fails. The Medals screen in the menu turns all of this into a checklist: three medals for the three ways to win (aggressive, undetected and epic), one for watching all 40 unique fails, one for failing 55 times in total, and a handful of joke medals with cryptic hints. You can retry from the last decision, go back to the start, or return to the menu.

How to play Stealing the Diamond
- Press PLAY on the menu. Medals shows the endings and fail medals you have unlocked so far.
- Watch or skip the intro: the diamond on display, the news report and Henry deciding to take it.
- On the rooftop choose Bust In or Sneak In by clicking its picture.
- Keep choosing at every new screen. When letters appear on screen, click inside the game first if needed and then press the matching key quickly.
- After a fail, use Retry to go back to the last choice or Return to Start to begin the heist again.
Tips
- Hold the key for a moment instead of tapping it very lightly; a too-short press can be missed.
- Unique Fails only goes up for an outcome you have not seen before, so it doubles as a progress bar for completionists.
- Bust In and Sneak In are the first fork, and the three endings are aggressive, undetected and epic, so plan at least three full runs.
- Read the one-liner on every fail screen. It often hints at what went wrong.
Questions about Stealing the Diamond
Is Stealing the Diamond only clicking?
Mostly, but not entirely. Some scenes show keyboard prompts that must be answered with a key press, so you need a keyboard for those parts.
Can I play it on a phone or tablet?
Not properly. The choices can be tapped, but the timed letter prompts need a physical keyboard, so play on a computer.
Where does it fit in the Henry Stickmin series?
It is the third episode, after Breaking the Bank and Escaping the Prison, and before Infiltrating the Airship.
What are medals?
Rewards listed under Medals in the main menu: one per ending, Fail Champion for seeing all 40 unique fails, Failtastic for 55 fails in total, plus several joke medals.
How many endings are there?
Three, matching the three ending medals: an aggressive win, an undetected win and an epic one.
